Some Thoughts on the Shoyoroll Blackstar BJJ Gi Pants

The Shoyoroll Gi pants on the Blackstar Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi have a really cool ID pocket inside the pants, instead of the jacket on later issues.

The pocket is really cool, but the problem is that it gets in the way sometimes when I’m tying the pants. The rope drawstring on the pants is the worst part. The things falls apart and comes untied constantly. It’s an absolute mess. But the problem is that since the rest of this gi is so clean, it really takes away from the overall performance and look of the gi. I know a lot of my friends who have this gi have just replaced the drawstring on the pants, so I guess I could do that as well.

Even with this problem, these pants are still probably some of the best out there. They’re really strong and will last a long time. Plus, they look great! I think that these are standard on all Shoyoroll gis and I would definitely rank these pants a 9 stars out of 10.

so recently i received my bearpaw boots i ordered andWinter is coming, and the chill is in the air. The other day, I started to pack away my summer clothes for the season, and I took out my winter outfits from storage. I took an inventory of what I have to make sure that I have what I need for the cold season. I went through my winter wardrobe. There was a jacket that has seen better days, so I decided not to keep it. There were a couple of sweaters that are looking kind of tired too, so I will not be wearing those either. What I really need to get is something to keep my feet warm. What I want is a pair of Bearpaw boots. I want my feet to feel toasty and warm when I just want to do some errands. I can wear my Bearpaws with jeans or with a denim skirt. Once I get my boots, I will be all set for winter.

Old Black and White Dresses: SOLD

Last week, when I visited my parents’ house, I saw my old closet filled with black and white dresses. I started collecting them for 5 years ago and I am very certain that they don’t fit me anymore. I don’t have any sister to give it to, neither a niece old enough for them to fit. My cousins and my sisters-in-law are too plump. It seems like I am the only skinny girl in the family.

Anyway, since I couldn’t give it to anybody, I thought of selling them instead. So the next day, I put up a garage sale. I took out my old books, videos, records and other old things I no longer use and put them outside along with the black and white dresses.

It wasn’t long before customers flooded our front yard. Teenage girls bunched up where the black and white dresses were. Luckily, I was able to sell them all. Now, I have money to buy me new black and white dresses!

Good Gloves for Fat Hands

I’m able to handle tools well with them and even get nuts, bolts, screws, and so on. These ladies white gloves are wonderful. Gloves were okay quality wise but too little. Long story short, gloves dried up and are no worse for the wear. Regardless of the flaws, they are some of the best gloves I’ve owned. Overall, thinking about the cost of under $12.00 (free ship) for a set of insulated leather gloves, I’m at first extremely satisfied with this purchase, time will tell. They are a great fit, properly made, great for the price. I purchased these gloves as a present for my girlfriend earlier this Christmas (I currently owned a set of Fowne’s men’s lambskin/cashmere gloves). Used it several times, keeps warm in moderate temps. I’d not buy another pair due to how uncomfortable these were to wear. I purchased them to handle a little chainsaw but would not want to use them to handle concrete blocks and rough things like that.

Present for Husband

They are leather cut proof gloves. I hope they’ll eventually stretch to provide a truer fit. I really like them since they’re thick heavy leather and are super well-crafted. Obviously they did not fit! Returning was simple, waiting for refund. These gloves are supple and both hands pretty well shielded from heat. Purchased these for my son for Christmas. Buy other gloves if you want inferior merchandise. The leather is beautiful even though fit is really a tad tight. At first I was overwrought with ambivelence about them, but duty calls. These were shipped very quickly and I was happy with the high quality. This just means they are that much warmer – I like it! Also the leather, if that’s what it is, is not supple so it slips on my handle grips, I really hope it breaks down and gets to be grippier as time passes. My facial moisturizer took the dye out of the gloves.
